|We start with ‘stretches,’ the first Hannon exercise. This is like the ‘ignition key’ for the car, namely the hand. Hannon helps to cover the space of the entire keyboard, using all of the fingers in turn. Watch the video and try to repeat what you see on your piano.|
Learning the order of music notes with Flash Cards.
Download the cards and print them on hard paper. Cut them with scissors.
Our "I can read music!" flash cards teach a beginner to differentiate, determine and memorize the position of music notes on the Grand Staff. Today you are going to learn ascending and descending order of music notes from Do to Do.
Work with the song and the cards as it shown on the video.
Use Our FREE Sample of Music Alphabet Song-Chant
We recommend using this song with children as young as 18 months. By listening to this song, even small infants can memorize the order of the music scale and develop perfect pitch.
But this song is great for all beginners not just toddlers!
Music Alphabet Song-Chant has 7 main tracks. Each track starts from a different note and presents a different Major Scale. You may listen to them all at once or learn one track at a time. Sing along with the music and memorize the order of the music notes. Try to say or sing what you have learning as quickly as you can by yourself.
Check your memory with the last, 8th, track by reciting all scales at once FAST in a 'rap' style.
